Task Force Young Science

The task force Young Science is an association of employees from MWA member institutions who are responsible for promoting scientists in the early stages of their careers. The task force provides a forum for collegial exchange and organizes joint events for young researchers.

Artificial Intelligence in the Academic World

Workshop & Fishbowl Discussion – November 17, 2025 | JGU Mainz Campus

As part of this year’s AI focus, the AG Junge Wissenschaft of the Mainz Science Alliance invites you to a day dedicated to Artificial Intelligence in the Academic World. On November 17, 2025, two events on the JGU Campus will explore how AI is transforming scientific research and academic practice:

  • A workshop on Prompting for the Natural Sciences
  • A fishbowl discussion on Artificial Intelligence in the Academic World: Opportunities, Risks, and Ethical Concerns

The events are organized in cooperation with the Graduate School of the Humanities and Social Sciences (GSHS) and the international workshop Who’s Afraid of AI? Creativity, Credibility, and the Humanities (November 17–18, 2025).
